Your water is safe to drink!
The City of Fountain wants you to know that your water is safe to drink.
At the October 13, 2020, City Council Meeting, the City debuted a new informational video to the public regarding Fountain Utilities water quality. For many years now, Fountain has had to deal with the consequences of contamination of its ground wells by Perfluorinated Compounds (PFCs). This video explains to residents of Fountain how the City Utility gets water to the community, and the rigorous filtration, testing, and policies that Fountain has put in place to ensure a clean, safe drinking water supply.
Also at the meeting, State Representative Lois Landgraf presented a Tribute to the City of Fountain from the Colorado State Legislature, recognizing the many actions taken to protect the City’s water supply.
