Effective January 1, 2020, the City of Fountain Sales Tax, is now 7.53%. This is a change from the previous tax of 7.88%, which included a .35% temporary special tax for road projects. The .35% was part of the Moving Fountain Forward Initiative. That .35% expired, when it was not renewed by voters on last year’s 2019 ballot.
